Choosing where in Thailand to marry

Start with the guest list, not the scenery. If people are flying from several continents, Phuket or Bangkok will save everyone a domestic connection. If everyone is already in Bangkok, Hua Hin or Khao Yai is three hours by road and costs less.

Then ask what the wedding is. A ceremony for eight does not need a resort with a ballroom. A three-day event for a hundred needs somewhere that can absorb the whole group without you renting the entire property.

Finally, pick the look. Cliffs mean Krabi. Vineyards mean Khao Yai. Skyline means Bangkok. Barefoot means Samui or Khao Lak. Every one of these has a page on this site with weather, logistics and a sample day so you can compare them properly.
