Couples can have a symbolic wedding celebration in Thailand without legally registering the marriage.
Couples wanting a legally recognised marriage may need documents from their home country, translations, authentication or legalisation, and registration with the appropriate Thai district office. Requirements depend on nationality and individual circumstances.
