Nothing else in Thailand looks like Railay and Ao Nang. If your photographs matter more than your dance floor, Krabi is the answer.

Nowhere else in Thailand gives you limestone karsts rising straight out of the water behind a ceremony. Krabi trades polish for landscape, and photographs accordingly.

Couples who care most about scenery, adventurous small groups, and island or longtail-boat ceremonies.

Cliffs rising straight out of the water, island hopping between ceremony and dinner, and resorts that are quieter and less expensive than Phuket for the same standard.

Resort beaches around Ao Nang and Tubkaek, Railay properties reached only by boat, and private island settings for very small ceremonies.

Krabi Airport takes domestic and some regional flights, and Phuket airport is around two and a half hours away by road for guests with more choice of routes.

November to April is the dry season. Outside it, boat transfers and island ceremonies become the part of the plan most likely to change.

Boat-based elements need a weather call the day before, not the morning of. We always hold a land-based version of the same ceremony.

Fly into Krabi directly from Bangkok and several Asian cities, or drive two hours from Phuket airport. Railay is reachable only by boat.

Longtail boats to a quiet beach at first light for portraits, ceremony under the cliffs late afternoon, dinner back at the resort garden.

Venue rates are generally lower than Phuket, but boat charters, longer supplier travel and equipment transport add lines that do not exist elsewhere.

Your ceremony here is symbolic; registration happens at a district office. Confirm your own documents with your embassy or consulate.
