Eloping in Thailand: two people and a photographer
An elopement is not a smaller version of a wedding. It is a different day with a different shape: no schedule to run, no guests to move, and usually one photographer as the only supplier who really matters.
Most elopements we arrange are a private ceremony at sunrise or late afternoon, a celebrant, flowers, a photographer, and a table booked somewhere good afterwards. The whole thing can sit inside three hours.
Cost is dominated by two choices: where you stand, and how long you keep the photographer. Private property and boat access cost real money; a quiet beach at 06:30 costs almost nothing.
If you want the day to be legal as well, treat that as a separate errand on a separate weekday, with the paperwork done in advance. Nobody wants to spend their elopement morning at a district office.
Elopements suit couples who dislike being watched, couples with families in several countries, and couples who would rather spend the budget on two weeks in Thailand than on one afternoon.
