What a wedding in Thailand actually costs

There is no single answer, but there are honest ranges.

An elopement for two — celebrant, photographer, flowers, a beautiful spot and a good dinner — typically starts around 60,000 THB. A ceremony and dinner for 30 guests at a resort usually lands between 350,000 and 700,000 THB depending on food and drink. A private villa weekend for 80 guests with production, entertainment and two additional events is generally 1.5 million THB and upwards.

The three items that move the total most are the number of guests, whether alcohol is unlimited, and whether you build a venue from nothing or use one that is already set up. Flowers and lighting are the easiest place to overspend and the easiest place to save.
